CLIFFORD BRINGS OVER TWENTY YEARS OF REAL ESTATE, CORPORATE AND INVESTMENT FINANCE AND BANKING EXPERIENCE.
He is responsible for new business development, project management, private financing, broker relations, negotiations, planning and sourcing private equity for Woodborn and its affiliate companies. Previously, he provided financial analysis and support of a local automotive land development company’s hotel, landscaping company and property/project managers for over 5 million square feet of commercial space locally and nationally. In his capacity in Investment Finance, he supported the issuance of over $4B of securitized debt and successfully executed approximately $500M in note pay downs of Lease and Retail facilities. Clifford is a 1998 and 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and a Master’s of Business Administration with majors in Corporate & Investment Finance and minors in Real Estate & Marketing Strategy. Currently, Clifford is a graduate of the Urban Land Institute's Robert C. Larson Center for Leadership program and serves on the Board of Directors for the Brush Park Community Development Corporation..
In addition to his role in the real estate community, Clifford is active in a variety of charitable organizations; including serving on the board of the Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program, Metropolitan Church of God Trustee Board and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Southfield Graduate Chapter.
Cliff currently resides in Metropolitan Detroit with his wife, Sydney, and two children – Brooke and CJ (Clifford II).
